Events!
My 1st ticket! Offense: drving 1000 feet up a one way road......(that tiny road between the SUU Parking lot & Pool ) I was just trying to go swimming... C'mon cop give me a break! Well he sure did................
Danon's 1st ticket....... Offense: Speeding 83 in a 65 mph zone. Oops! Maybe this will help Danon ease up on his lead foot! Here's Mr. Lead Foot himself at Brycen's wish from the Make A Wish Foundation
Brycen the stud!
My Mom decorated my house with tons of pink balloons outside for my b-day! People probably thought we had a baby or Maggie had puppies! Love You Mom!The present from Danon! LOVE IT! He also made me homemade hot chocolate (my absolute favorite) That man is scoring some serious points!

Bringing Home Mo (A.K.A. The TOAD)!!!
People actually followed Danon to the taxidermy to get a closer look! One guy about wrecked on main street looking at it and another stopped Danon and thought he shot an elk!
Ok so I love Halloween. Last year I bought this life sized mummy I call Frank that does scary things. I was going to put Frank in the back of the wagon in my yard and have 2 skeletons drving the wagon but I haven't got around to arranging that so I had other plans! I put him in the shower so when Danon turned the sharp corner to get in he would see the creature in there! He sure saw it and I have never seen his eyes so wide and he jumped a bit! It was hillarious!! We've also pulled out Frank out on some of our guests that knock on our door! I really should video tape people's reactions. It's so funny!

Hunting & a little softball!
Danon shot a deer (4x5 for those who care) .... well, kind of! He called me early in the morning after I was leaving the pool and needed me to bring him some "tools" to gut the thing. So I hopped in my car still drenched in chlorine and met him up the mountain just thinking that I was going to give him the stuff and let him take care of his "doings"because I don't do well with things like that! Anyways ,I got suckered in and hiked down some steep terrain to the deer. I took one look at it and was TOTALLY GROSSED OUT! I mean the poor deer had open large sores on it. (You can see the one on it's shoulder) I told Danon it had a disease! To make a long story short.. Danon packed that thing out and I called the DWR to have them look at the open sores on the thing! Turns out the deer had warts which are harmless and are passed on from deer to deer. The kind man took the entire deer and re-issued Danon a new tag! So he will be off hunting again this weekend!
Hooray for Artic Circle & Monday Night Cedar League Softball! Danon's team won the championship! This is the only picture I have just before they were given the trophy! My camera froze up because it was SO dang cold! Good work boys!

Update
It's been awhile since my last post and alot has happened... First off I was totally devestated by the plane crash that killed 10 Cedar City residents. I knew a few of them and my heart goes out to their families. I can't stop thinking about about how fragile life is. But I am so grateful for my knowledge of life after death and that families are forever.
While life can end so abruptly it can also happen so quickly! Both of my sister-in-laws had babies this month! Braxton & Gavin are so dang cute! It is so awesome to see new precious life! Congrats you guys! For those of you not keeping count that makes me an aunt to 7! Holy Cow is all I can say!
Danon became a "dedicated hunter" for the next three years and has been hunting every available second. So Sunday I decided to tag along and go camping with him at "The Peaks" I am not much a fan of "The Peaks" but went anyway we have to compromise! We hiked the next day of course and Danon is a dang mule! He treks up and down steep hills like it's nothing! And after he cuts wood while I read "country home magazine" in the truck! He didn't even ask me to help! I guess he could see I was in the middle of something important! Thanks Danon!!! Now with all the money you are saving us on our gas bill can I hire an interior decorator??
I thought I would never say this and Jamie will die when she reads this but I do enjoy lap swimming! It is the ULTIMATE workout! I even will get up at 5:30 am to do this crazy thing! January was the first time I had ever even tried on swim goggles besides to snorkel in and I couldn't even swim a lap I hated it! Now I can get in and actually swim! Hooray!! But wow it's been a road getting here! And yes Jamie you still can kick my can at swimming!

The Homer Spit!
It's interesting to note that there are ice cream shacks all over Alaska! They have an outrageously high consumption of ice cream in that state! I though it would be like hot chocolate or something!
My Cute hubby freezing!!
On our flight coming to Alaska I sat in between Danon and this rather large fellow who was so nice but could not even put the arm rest between us down and was sitting on part of my seat!! Needless to say I was so crammed and didn't dare say anything to him! I kept asking this flight attendant how much longer and visiting with them in the back of the plane! I became good friends with them! It was the longest 5 hours of my life! When we arived in Anchorage I got so sick! I was sick for 2 days after! So I was scared to go on a float plane in fear I would need the barf bag! But I was fine! Didn't even get queezy!! We skimmed private lakes and flew around everywhere! It was so awesome! We also went to Denali National Park and we were like the only tourist there! It was amazing! The coolest part of the trip was when Danon and I would just pull off the road and be 250 feet from a brown bear or we could almost touch moose or caribu! I'm trying to talk Danon into going back up and hunting caribu with Rhea but he won't leave work! What's wrong with him???? Alaska is beautiful and all but I could never live there! I can't live without lots of sunshine and warm weather!
